Meet Shortie! Don't let those gawky kid photos fool you, this doe is turning into a very dairy, very elegant young lady. I personally would like a stronger body but I think she will develop more over time. If you saw her standing next to her twin sister Diva you wouldn't think they came out of the same doe. They are night and day in the looks department but I held both back to see as they mature who I would like to keep in the herd. Shortie is the more timid of the two sisters, much more like her dam but still very sweet and good natured.
Shortie lives now with her fellow herdmate Zoe at my friends Keenan & Becca's farm called Wise Roots Farm. I will be getting a little doe kid back hopefully next year out of this girl so her genetics will stay in the herd. I love her and miss her but she has a great home at Wise Roots Farm :).
